The idea of Loki-as-Gabriel's vessel is definitely growing on me. I keep coming up with reasons why it makes sense. I'm a bad fangirl. I completely missed that the last album of Valhalla has been sort of going the webcomic way.

According to Norse myth, Loki is the son of Fabaurti and Laufey. Now, I've come across several references (although I can't seem to find a specific origin for them in the eddas, although I haven't so far looked very hard) saying that this involved Fabaurti throwing a lightning at Laufey. So, Christmas Eve has come and gone. It was nice. Good food, family, hygge - quite nice. Also nice presents - I got some dvds, a new telephone and a toaster, among other things. Also, my gifts were well-received, so all in all, it was good.
